Random call from Disney?

I missed it, and they didn't leave a voicemail, but I got a call from a number and my phone litteraly labeled it "Disney" as the caller id. I'm not sure why they called though. I don't have any reservations or anything planned, and when I try to google the number nothing comes up except for the fact that is indeed a Disney number. It is 407-939-7740. Has anybody gotten a call from them before?

Caller I'd spoofing. Happening a lot. Please be careful.

Was a post the other day about someone who got a call and got a upgrade due to over booking. Maybe look for that post and message them to see if it was Same number

Did you do a DVC tour or request info on DVC in the past?
I get calls about twice a year from them.

If they don't leave a voicemail, I'd be cautious. Too many people spoofing phone numbers these days that you can't trust caller ID.

I've received calls claiming, "because you've stayed with Disney in the past, we'd like to offer you a special voucher for a bonus vacation to Vegas, the Bahamas, Hawaii, or Virginia Beach with ______ Grand Vacations!" Totally a scam. They also called me claiming that I had stayed with Marriott and Hilton in the past, making me eligible for the same offer.

If you think it actually might be Disney, you can always dial the number yourself and see if there are any notes on your account.

Could be they were offering an upgrade but didn't leave a message because they had to move on to the next guest.

I got two calls from the 407 area code today. Now voice mail was left. I googled one of the numbers and the first number came up as a robocaller.

I get calls from my own phone number, with my name appearing on the ID, often! Scammers using names/numbers that are recognizable to get you to answer the phone.
