Hey all,

I've asked Rev Miller a couple of times for a copy of the ceremony so we can see how it will all play out, see if we can put any readings in etc, but he always seems to forget to reply to this :lmao:

I wondered if anyone has a written copy, or can direct me to a full ceremony video so we can check it out?

We didn't opt for the religious ceremony, or the completely non-religious one, it was the in-betweeny option, I forget exactly how it was titled on the booking form.

Can anyone help?

We choose the inbetween ceremony, I'm not sure what it was called either:)

Here it is....

GREETING

Hello everyone! We are here to witness and to celebrate the marriage of Brian & Erin. What a beautiful day this is!
PRAYER

Let us pray: “Father, I ask that you take the words that fall from my lips and perform a wonderful covenant between Yourself, Brian and Erin. Change two faces to one name, merge two directions into one destiny and make two individuals one… In Jesus name… Amen.”

GIVING OF THE BRIDE

Who presents this beautiful Bride to be married to this deserving Groom, who promises in return to love, to provide and to protect her for a lifetime? Father: I DO

QUESTION OF INTENT

Brian: Do you take Erin to be your wedded wife, to live together in the estate of holy matrimony? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor her and always keep her, in all of life’s challenges, chaos and cheers, for as long as you both shall live? Response: I DO !

Erin: Do you take Brian to be your wedded husband, to live together in the estate of holy matrimony? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor him and always keep him, in all of life’s challenges, chaos and cheers, for as long as you both shall live? Response: I DO !

LOVE IS…
Love is a friendship that has caught fire.
It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence,
sharing and forgiving.
It is loyalty through good and bad.
It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weakness.
Love is content with the present.
It hopes for the future and it doesn’t brood over the past.
It’s the day-in and day-out chronicle of irritations, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working toward common goals.
NUPTUAL NUGGETS

• Don’t endure marriage but to enjoy it.

• Many quickly learn that a marriage
license is really a learner’s permit

• Always be kind, loving and patient
• Always work out disagreements, disputes…

● Never compete with but complete your mate.

WEDDING VOWS

Brian you first

Erin , I came here today / to join my life to yours. / Time and circumstances will change us. / Yet, you will always be / beautiful in my eyes. / For love is the gift / of understanding / and accepting. / I make my home in your heart / from this day forward. / I promise you my love, / my loyalty / and my leadership / for the rest of my life.

Erin, please repeat after me…

Brian , I came here today / to join my life to yours. / Time and circumstances will change us. / Yet, you will always be / beautiful in my eyes. / For love is the gift / of understanding / and accepting. / I make my home in your heart / from this day forward. / I promise you my love / and my loyalty / for the rest of my life.

GIVING OF RINGS

The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and invisible bond which unites two loyal hearts. The ring is a circle which has no end and symbolizes the never-ending love that exist between you two. The gold substance of which the ring is composed, is a symbol of the riches that reside in each of you. May these rings always epitomize and reflect your love for each other.

May I have Erin’s ring please?

Brian… place this ring on Erin’s finger and repeat:

I give you this ring / as a sign of my vow, / and with all that I am, / and all that I have, / I honor you, / I respect you / I choose you to be my wife / for the rest of my life.

May I have Brian’s ring please?

Erin… place this ring on Brian’s finger and repeat:

I give you this ring / as a sign of my vow, / and with all that I am, / and all that I have, / I honor you, / I respect you / I choose you to be my husband / for the rest of my life.

PRONOUNCEMENT

You have given yourselves to each other by the stating of intent and solemn vows, with the joining of hands and the giving of rings… now by the authority vested in me as a minister of the Gospel, and in keeping with the laws of the state of Florida, I pronounce you husband and wife at exactly ____:____.

CHARGE

● Maintain your spontaneity and your sense of humor.
● Pray often for strength and direction in your marriage.
● Walk often down Memory’s Lane… remember how you
met, remember your courtship… remember how
today you gave yourself to each other for a lifetime.

KISSING OF THE BRIDE

Brian, at this time you may kiss your completer… your best-friend… your wife, Erin…

PRESENTATION OF COUPLE

I present to you all at this time…

Mr. & Mrs.

He was so awesome....good luck!!

Thank you for posting I really hope we can have Rev Miller

Fabulous, thank you! :thumbsup2

Do you know where we can add in our own readings if we choose to?

Also, we are having a sand ceremony too, where abouts does this fit in?

I just got my ceremony from Rev. Miller a couple of days ago...I told him to put the 3 readings we chose anywhere he felt they should go and we're doing an Irish Loving Cup ceremony which he placed after the rings, so I'm assuming that's the place where unity candle/sand ceremony would be...

HTH!

Is he doing the readings or others in your wedding party?

I don't suppose it matters either way as long as he introduces each of them and then they'd know when to get up!!

I wonder whether I should ask him again about sending our ceremony, or if he only does it at a certain time out from the date....

How long did your ceremony take? My fiance doesn't want a long ceremony and neither do I but at the same time I want to make sure that people don't feel like it was a waste of time to come to the church.

Thanks! :)

I'm with you on the short ceremony! I walked down the aisle at 12:00 and we were pronoucned husband and wife at 12:17. It was just long enough....even though from the looks of my 9 year old cousins face it lasted about 16 minutes too long :rotfl2:

Thanks for this :thumbsup2

My two nephews and one niece are doing the readings. But the way he has it scripted is he introduces them...

He doesn't send you your ceremony until about a month out....

HTH!

:)
