Two years ago I stayed at the Contemporary and was using room service after a commando day at one of the parks.
I called for the prime rib and was told the "meat truck" had not come that day and they had no prime rib. :scared1:

Have you ever been told the restaurant or room service was "out" of what you wanted? :sad1:

Yes, I'm worried. :lmao:

This is actually the story of DW's life. When I first started dating her, I thought it was quirky, and that it would only happen a few times. Now that we've been married for 5 1/2 years, I can honestly say that at least 1/4 of the time, she orders something that isn't availible. It even happened once at Disney!!!

In all honesty though, I kinda get a kick out of it!:happytv:

As a matter of fact yes, it wasn't the entree but the dessert...I don't usually eat dessert and when I want it, I want it:)

My mom and I once went to Earl of Sandwich for a late dinner and they had run out of bread for sandwiches! :confused3 We were tired and very disappointed after a long day at the parks. We went to Earl the next night and were happy we could finally get our sandwiches!

I'm sorry....but once they threw the words "meat truck" at me, I wouldn't have wanted the prime rib anymore, anyway. I guess I only want to picture my steaks on my plate and cooked (even if rare), not as a hunk of MEAT on a TRUCK.

Nevertheless, what a bummer!!!! I'm sorry that happened to you.

LeCellier was out of maple creme brulee the first time we all went. It was a terrible experience already and that was the icing on the cake. At that point I had hoped the creme brulee would have saved the meal but it just made it worse. oh well!

Oh no, I really love meat, "meat truck" sounds good to me, I just want it pullin' up in my driveway.
