Ramada Maingate changing?

I've signed up for the Ramada Maingate "email list", and received the following yesterday:

From the Saga Inn to Ramada Maingate - At The Park, to a new magical name starting January 1st, 2016. Stay tuned to see what we will be calling your new and improved home away from home. We are excited to hear what everyone has to say about our beautiful hotel with the launch of a spacious lobby, new suites with a front row view of the parks, new breakfast and meeting room, a huge open air rooftop bar and lounge with a perfect view of the Disneyland fireworks, and retail shops to meet all your needs.

Does anyone have any details of what this might mean? The email doesn't give many details, but seems to be implying that the hotel will no longer be part of the Ramada chain.

EDIT: It appears the Wyndham website is not taking reservations for this hotel past December 31, 2015.

I received that email also. I think it's pretty clear it won't be a Ramada anymore. By the sound of it, I don't think anyone know what hotel it will become, unless they work there. I bet they will let us know soon. It isn't in their best interest to not have any bookings after December.

Interesting. I hope the new change doesn't price visitors like myself out. I noticed the brand new Marriott with the water park just a couple doors down practically costs as much as staying on site! Years ago we stayed at the Ramada so when I booked our 2012 trip I was confused because I didn't remember the property looking like it did. I later found out the Fairfield was the Ramada we stayed in! I liked the Ramada and went to book with them again last year but they ended their affiliation with Costco Travel.

I will be bummed if it is no longer the Ramada! I love staying there and enjoy getting my Wyndham Rewards points for staying there!! I'm staying there in November, I'll try to remember to ask about it!
