I also asked this on the trans. forum since I don't really know where to go...

I noticed 4 Ramada Inns on the worst hotels for Orlando list...anyone know if it is a problems with the chain itself...looking for a hotel for the drive to and from and Ramada has good rates but don't want a disgusting hotel, even if it is cheap.

There is not a problem with the chain.

Have you looked into the Hampton Inn there? It is a good one, located at I-95 Exit 53/ SC63 intersection, I believe.

Best Western, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, and a few other motels are located at this exit.

thanks, it's a good rate but I hate to stay somewhere with out knowing what it is like.

I think there is a Sleep Inn at the first exit that was built a year ago if this helps. My parents live in Walterboro, and my husband and I live 26 miles from there. I can check and see where some of the overflow from Broxton Bridge Plantation stays if you want me to. Please email me as I teach and don't always have time to check the boards. I can give you a lot of info about Walterboro as I was raised there and still visit often. Also the new film Radio was filmed in Walterboro.
