We have reservations for Ralph Brennan's during our upcoming trip.
Can anyone share their favorite meal from there? Thanks!

My favorites are the Bourbon Street sampler (especially the calamari) and the shrimp & grits entree.

My DH loved the chicken and waffles and of course their beignets are super yummy!

I love the beef medallions (filet mignon). The side is the...can't remember what it's called, but it's mashed potatoes with crawdads. Sounds gross but it's really delicious. They will let you switch it out if you don't like it.

I also order the double chocolate bread pudding first, because it takes them about 20 minutes to make it. It's sooooooo good. Not at all like bread pudding, btw, but more like a souffle and you get to pour white and dark chocolate into the middle. Plus there's ice cream on the side.

We just ate there a week ago and I got the green goddess salad. It was delicious, it had chicken and apples in it and a yummy dressing. It was very filling.

Thanks so much everyone. I know I am going to have trouble choosing. I love shrimp and I love grits, so I may go for that; and definitely the chocolate pudding, and the gumbo...oh decisions, decisions. Cajun food is just toooo good.

When we went in December, we got the corn chowder (if they're serving it, I HIGHLY recommend), I got the jalapeno cornbread-crusted salmon, and my hubby got the mahi mahi dish, if I remember correctly. Everything was absolutely delicious and I would love to go there again.

Enjoy!

Oh no...two more of my favorite foods -- corn chowder and salmon. I may have to eat two meals there!

We had lunch, we shared .... (all was good)

LOVE the beef medallions and beignets. This is the only restaurant I clean a plate at, it is that good. LOL

Let me put it this way about RB's Jazz Kitchen- My hubby is generally not that "wowed" by food, tbh, and he proclaimed that the person cooking the food at RB's was a "professional" in an amazed tone of voice, lol.

I should say that this is also after NOT being excited to eat there, like I was, haha.

I like the Popcorn Calamari starter, Paneed Chicken and Grits entree and the beignets for dessert. If you go for Sunday Brunch my favorites are the Crab Cakes and Eggs and the Chicken and Waffle.
