I just wanted to share that Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen has announced their Holiday Gingerbread Workshop dates: Dec. 8, 14, 15, 21. Tickets will go on sale on October 28th @ 10am. I haven't done this personally, but I've been on the lookout for it, in case it fit into my current plans. You can check out their website for more details.

DD and I have done the Halloween Haunted House event at RB and it is a lot of fun. On our last event we were waiting in line with several groups of people who do both. They told me the Christmas one is even better and clubs in the area attend so they book on the first day.

Wow...I definitely need to look into this more then. I hope they release the buffet options before the tickets go on sale. If not, I'll call before. I actually haven't eaten at Ralph Brennan's yet, but it was on my list to try the beignets, so I may just go all in for a full buffet meal as long as there are enough options that work with my allergies.

Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I was just keeping an eye out on all the special events they have going on, and trying to work in as many as I can fit. It sounds like it would be a great experience though, so I'm setting my alarm to call them a couple days before. Thanks so much the recommendation!

My sister, friend and I did this once and it was a blast. Our gingerbread house results were less than stellar, but who cares? We enjoyed it so much we'd do it again, but our annual Christmas trip has not fallen on the dates they've been offered for the past few years.

Awesome! Yes, I already know my gingerbread building skills are pathetic...if the house stands, that'll be a win in my book. But it would definitely be fun to see other people's creations and just enjoy the festivities.
