I know it's Florida and usually rains in the summer. It looks like the first half of August there wasn't a lot of rain but starting next week, it has rain almost every day and it doesn't say "isolated thunderstorms". Is there a tropical storm coming? or is this the "normal", it might rain everyday? We arrive next week.

Normal. There are a couple of potential tropical disturbances in the Atlantic as well, also normal. Rain of varying degrees forecast more than a couple days out, also normal. :)

Totally normal. Don't be put off by rain. If you're here during the rainy season, either resolve to get wet and go about your day or expect to do more shopping than planned, as you wait it out in the stores.

*Most* of the time the rain is fast and hard, but short lived.

And as for more substantial weather - don't bother looking further out than 2 days. A 10 day forecast might say that there's heavy rain expected on the 10th day and that'll change as the day gets closer.

Pessimists, weathermen are indeed.

Completely normal. Bring or buy some ponchos, bring sturdy footwear and prepare for periodic torrential downpours.

At this point, unless you are looking at the forecast for this weekend, I'll give you the advice I give anyone else looking at the forecast for FL (or most anywhere else for that matter)
Consult your Magic 8 Ball.
Or a Dart Board
Either one stand as much a chance as being right
It will not rain all day every day. I am not sure FL has ever had day after day of all day rain. Has it ever rained for say, 3 solid days? I'm not even sure
Some rain every day, yep. That it will do. You can be almost count on somewhere, in WDW, it will rain every day, at some point.
But, I think the bottom line is, unless you are going to change your trip, you poncho up (or in our case umbrella up) and go. You don't change plans, outside of maybe replan a water park day.

Ignore the weather report, we were there the first part of August and even a week out they were saying afternoon thunderstorms/showers. The first day we got there it did rain for about 1/2 hour around 5 or 6 but we missed it as we were in the bar at the CR. After that, nary a drop except maybe at night while we were asleep. We were actually wishing and complaining it didn't rain because a little water from the sky would have been refreshing. That is only the second time we've been to WDW that it hasn't rained. We've been going for over 30 years and at every different time of the year, grab a poncho or umbrella and play in the rain.

Perfectly normal. The first half of August was a bit unusual.

I hope it down pours at least once a day for an hour while we are there. Clears out the parks!

Hi, we are arriving on the 27th. I've heard "Scattered Showers". From this point on, I am refusing to look at any forecasts from here on out. Not worth worrying about, in my book. I say a rainy day at Disney is better than being at home. I am so ready for VACATION!!!

I agree to ignore the weather report until a day or two before. I've gone on trips where they were predicting 80% chance of rain every day for a week and it was either dry all day or a short passing shower.

I drove to Tampa to do Busch Gardens and its water park Adventure Island today since it showed only a 30% chance of rain, not too bad for summer, what happened,it rained. It wasn't too bad,I was at the water park from 10:30 until 2pm when it started raining, not a downpour or anything like that but I chose to leave the water park and go get something to eat. After the rain went away it got so ridiculously hot I had no interest in going to Busch Gardens, went to the Tampa outlets we had never seen before and drove home.Sometimes the best days in the summer are overcast days that look like its going to rain but doesn't,at least they're cooler and they don't zap your energy.

It's rainy season, it's hurricane season. Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. It's typical FL summer.
