What do you do for activities when the rain will not stop and a good day at the parks seems hopeless?:umbrella:

We like to visit DTD or go to the Florida Mall.

One day in November 2002, it poured rain constantly, never really let up.I hate d to miss a park day there so we put on our cheap dollar store ponchos and we went to Universal STudios and IOA. We went on every major ride we normally go on in both parks, the place was deserted and left at 1pm, because we were soaked. I have never gotten around as easy as I did that day. If you have limited time there, I say go anyway and have some fun...:sunny:

If its warm id go to the parks...you cant get but so wet.

We toughed it out last year at MK and MGM rained both days all day. We had a good time but I would prefer not to repeat that again.

How far is Florida Mall for LBV?

15-20 minutes, depending on your route and traffic.

Lots of others do this too, but we hit DisneyQuest one day when it was pouring and we didn't want to get soaked.

One year(1998) we came down here for vacation and it rained every single day without fail(stopped on the day we were leaving.) We bought ponchos and went to the parks anyway. Had a great time!

The only thing is, EVERYONE else has ponchos on so try to make yours unique somehow so you can find each other in a crowd. ;)

Thanks for the input everyone. I will try to plan some events around the rain and take along some water shoes as a backup. Wet sneakers are definitely no fun.
