I have an active 2 year old and I'm wondering what we'll do if it RAINS or even thunderstorms on our Nassau or Castaway Cay Days. :umbrella:
Any ideas???

TIA!

They are forecasting thunderstorms for our Nassau Day next week....:sad2:

thats a tough one with a 2 year old. I think they have free play time in the kids club where you can bring kids in supervised.

And they will have the character meet and greets throughout the day.

On my one poor weather day, they altered and added "indoor" family activities, such as leap frog, and putting competitions, family animation, trivia etc... but I don't remember any offerings for kids that young when it came to bad weather.

Your stateroom will have continuous Disney movies playing, all kinds of feature length animations films, so if worse comes to worse, there is that.

I would reccommend bringing some things to entertain them, just in case!

Thanks Shelley! I've packed lots of things just in case. (Books, toys, crayons/colorbooks, and even his LeapFrog)

Anyone else have any suggestions?

We went in Sept and had a few rainy days...but with the temp outside the rain was a welcome thing...It was actually nice to be rained on a little...not cold at all...Another thing.. the rain that we got...sort of came and went...didn't rain for long periods of time...which I don't know if thats the normal rain patterns for that area or if that's just how it was when we were onboard.

If there's no lightning and it's warm enough, you can still enjoy the beach and water at Castaway Cay - you adults would probably care more about the rain than your 2-year-old will. We had rain most of our Castaway Cay day in early March two years ago, and we still played in the water; in fact, we had the beach almost to ourselves.
