We have all day next Sunday and Monday in the parks. Some rain Sunday most likely, but looks manageable.

Monday looks like rain almost the whole day. No lightning as of right now, but lots and lots of rain.

I’ve done Disney in the rain, and I know there are some crowd perks, but ugh. I’m a bit disappointed.

Hulk and RRR are not on our list, so that’s ok, but spending a good amount of HM and DA is a priority, and I want dry skies.

Throw me some tips for making the best of it.

Its not going to rain all day so you will have lots of time still in HM and DA.

Plus, if you are already wet, getting wet on the water rides will not be a deterrent.

Also about half is DA is under a roof Knockturn Alley is enclosed to make it perpetually dark, and the opposite side of teh area has a large glass roof over it so can expereince a big part of it without getting wet, jsut jump from shop to shop quick outside that.

Wear quick dry clothes, sandals or non skid shoes, disposable dollar ponchos,
in case it does rain

Also, waterproof case or baggy for the cellPhone

I’ve done the parks in solid steady rain and don’t like it but don’t let it slow me down

I think the studios is ok to do in the rain
IOA not as easy as rides further apart for what I hit in that park
Seems like the studios has more things inside the park or at least closer together

It’s a bit of a walk in IOA from
Spider-Man to Seuss area in the pouring rain

If it just sprinkles all day, a mini umbrella would work fine

Our very first morning in DA in 2015, it was pouring rain! I was so disappointed when I looked out the hotel room window in the morning but we were determined to make the best of it. We threw on our rain jackets /ponchos and headed straight to Gringotts. The rain really kept people away and the wait time was so low that we actually rode it twice in a row! We then went on and did Ollivanders without any wait and they hung out in the shops, the covered Carket Market area and Knockturn Alley. Then we dashed off to ride the Howarts Express - again with little wait.

The walk to the park and back to the DA section was quite wet but once we were there, it actually wasn't bad. Luckily, it didn't rain again the rest of our trip!

Poncho up and trudge on. That's what we do at Universal and WDW. Anyway, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley look more authentic with the rain and dark skies. Seems more like the UK:)

If it will rain more heavily on Sunday, then I would do the Studios side that day. More attractions and queue lines are under cover or indoors. Even if it is raining, the outdoor rides will usually run unless lightning is in the area. If it rains too hard, the Hulk catapult launch will most likely not work and the ride could be shut down. Otherwise, be prepared to be hit by rain at 50 mph (or something like that)!

Monday should be an IOA day/things you missed on Sunday day.

I hope you packed your ponchos. otherwise, buy some at the hotel gift shop or nearby store before you hit the parks!
