What do you wear in the RR? Swimsuit, towel, robe??? Do they provide you with it or do you bring your own?

TIA! :flower:

I usually have on my swimsuit and the robe they provide. There are tons of nice towels available in the room. I see most people with some combo of a swimsuit and coverup or towel.
I bought a cool terry coverup that I plan on wearing next time.

is the rainforst room, the one that is in a big circle, steam, looks like rock?

do you have to pre book that kind of thing if i want to treat my gf too that?

Yes that is the rainforest room and you do not have to prebook it.

What!!! your're suppose to wear something??? No wonder all those people looked at me funny!!!

Oh, just kidding!!!

When I went in to look around the 1st day, they did say that I should get my pass early in case they sold out. I've never read anywhere that someone couldn't get it.

Swimsuit and even though I don't keep the robe fully on (depending what steam room I am in) I always make sure that there is some barrier between me and the tile. Perhaps I am a germaphobe, but it grosses me out to have my skin touch the tiles!

Question regarding it. I read somewhere that it under a gym and is not relaxing because of the noise from above. What are your experiences? I would love to book for Mom and I if it isn't distracting. Also, is it a full trip pass, by the hour, by the day? Can't seem to find the info.

I have not heard the basketballs from above in the Rainforest Room, but I have heard them while in the womens locker room, which is next door to it.

The rainforest room is definately not under a gym, the gym is on the same level, very front of ship, not even beside the rainforest room. There has never ever been noise while we have been in there, and believe me, hubby and I use it twice a day when we cruise.

Thanks! I appreciate your input. I love getting bad info the first time. Thank goodness I found you guys.

The spa is directly under the basketball courts/Wide World of Sports deck, however. Hence the bouncing basketballs. You can hear them. I believe whoever was telling the poster about the gym was meaning the sports deck above, not the actual fitness area.

I never heard anything in the Rainforest. However, I did hear the basketballs while I did the sleep capsule. It pretty much ruined the point of relaxing and replenishing sleep.

I usually sit on a towel because the seats can get hot. you can cool the the seats off with water, but be careful of others around. I was quite content sitting on my DRY towel when someone came in and cooled off their seat. Well, in the room I was in, there are 2 long tile benches so the water made its way to my spot.

I could hear the bouncing basketballs, especially in the tiled lounger (central room). I tried the "blue room" on the left...man, that was HOT. The only way I could stay in there was with the water hose on me. (Thanks to Inkcognito for that info) I tried the little-bitty room, also on the left, but the heat was TOO TOO much in there and the fog was thick. My fav was the green room on the right. I loved the trickle of the wall fountain and I had the room all to myself. I probably worried some of the ladies to death because I was 'hopping' around from place to place, but I wanted to experience it all...scented showers included.

And this is why I am soooo happy I have found these boards. It is nice to know that the info I recieved earlier isn't completely off base. OK, so based on what you all have said;

1. Rainforest is a go!
2. Stay to the right or it is too hot
3. Bring a protective barrier to put around your towel to avoid that oops feeling.
4. Bring a hose with you to cool off (MORE ON 4 would be appreciated).

How about the passes? Anyone know the breakdown on what you purchase? What about price?

Thank you again for responding.

The hoses are in the room already. Just sit near one and turn it on!
I have heard the basketballs, but they usually limit the activity overhead during the spa's open hours so it's not too bad.
As for what to wear, swimsuits are the norm, but I did run into a naked woman one day! She came in wearing a towel that didn't offer complete coverage, and she was shocked that the Rainforest was co-ed. But not shocked enough to leave...she just laid out towels on a tile lounger and plopped down au naturale. My husband ran into a couple of naked guys in one of the steam rooms; he warned them there was a female outside (me)...not sure what they did, as I left before I saw them (they went into the shower).

Oops. Thanks for the hose update. I would appreciate anything on the Price breakdown.

PS Sorry to the person who started this thread, I hope you don't mind me coming in and asking all these q's.
