How many others are in this room with you? any more details of the rainforest room?

My friend and I had the room to ourselves when we used it...... there are 3 small sauna rooms of varying temperatures and the larger "courtyard" with a fountain and I believe 3 heated tile loungechairs. It was great!

I believe the week long unlimited pass was $50.00. Daily admission was $15.00 or $8.00 if accompanied by a massage/body treatment.

Hope this isn't a dumb question....are children allowed in the Rainforest? I know my DD11 and DS13 would love to do this. Do you think it would be too overwhelming for them...heat wise?

I think all spa services are for ages 18 and up.

I loved the rainforest room. There are 4 tiled lounge chairs, a large sauna, and 2 smaller steam rooms. The smallest steam room could hold no more than 4, the larger one up to 10 and the sauna could hold a big group. There are several shower areas with overhead and side faucets. On our 7 night, I got the week pass, and used it 2X a day. Most days I was in there by myself. The most I was with were 2 other people.

On our 7-day we had week-long passes and the number of people there was different just about every time. Once, it was just the two of us, but I went without my wife one afternoon, and there were probably about 20 people total in the various rooms.

I completely enjoyed each trip, though. (The time that it was really crowded, I ended up participating in two really interesting conversations. One was mostly about DVC, and the other was with a former crew member who was doing the cruise for the first time as a passenger.) When it was crowded, people are more likely to talk to each other, when there are just a handful of people, they tend to ignore each other. (Both have positives & negatives, but in general there are few negatives in the Rainforest Room)

I have photos of the Rainforest on my website at www.castawayclub.com
My hubby loves it. It is for adults only, and it is really neat. I don't like it as much as he does (my low blood pressure gives me a limited tolerance for saunas/steam) before getting woozy, but I adore the heated tile loungers.

I found I could rest in the loungers all day long! On my next cruise I will definitely be getting the week long pass again! There were times when the loungers were all used... so I would sit on the heated tile bench until one opened up... never used the saunas or showers in there though...

I see the cost of a week long pass to the rainforest room, but can anyone tell me what the cost would be for a 4 night cruise? Thanks so much. Going on our first cruise over New Years!
