rainforest question

I'd like to try this on our upcoming Eastern. I know that I can go either by the day or for the whole week. My question is in regards to tipping. Is this just a place to go in like a sauna? Do you tip and how much? If you got it for the week, do you tip everytime?

The reason I'm asking is because when I did the capsule this year, the CM basically spent 2 minutes putting me in it, left (obviously!) then came back to tell me time was up. Now I don't have a problem with tipping, I just didn't have a clue as to what was appropriate.

I sat in the rainforest sauna for a while after my massage and didn't tip at all. The only person I saw was a locker room attendant picking up towels.

No tipping required for the Rainforest as you come and go as you please--just check in at the counter and you get a robe and locker key. It's worth it--nice quiet and relaxing place. Check it out the first day to see if you think it'll be worth it to purchase it by the week. It is for us since we go there at least once per day. I believe it was $50/week and $15/day.

LADYandTRAMP, everything in the spa is 18 and over.

Actually, they do have some teen specials, but the Rainforest isn't one of them. I think that the teen treatment is a manicure and pedicure, or maybe facial and pedicure, and it is offered only on certain days. Perhaps you could schedule your own treatment as the same time as your DDs and have a nice mother & daughter experience that way.

So if you try out the Rainforest for one day and decide you want to do it for the whole week, will they credit you the $15 towards the $50.

Also are they still offering the $30 special towards the end of the cruise? What day does that usually start?

I love the Rainforest room....my only complaint is that sometimes it's not fully operational early in morning....I walk on treadmill from 7-730....then I like to go to Rainforest....sometimes the steamrooms are not up to full temp yet....those tile loungers are the bomb though!!!!

I love the rainforest room, but I was never given a robe, just a key to a locker.

We all love the Rainforest Room and were creditted for the days that it was down during our May cruise. I hope that IF a third boat is built that they put something other than the basketball court over it! That is probably it's only design flaw.
