I'd love to take our son (9) to Rainforest at some point in our trip but we have all our dinners planned and don't want to take the time to go there for lunch. I'm thinking of maybe doing an early breakfast at the one at Animal Kingdom. Is it open early and has anyone gone there for breakfast (how was it)? Is it in the park or just outside the park?

We go there often for breakfast (Tonga Toast is a fav). You may want to make a priority seating becaus during Pres. day week there was a 20-30 min. wait for the main dining rm in the AM. Depends on the season, but I think the DP is affecting all seatings at all the resturants.
Enjoy!

I had a thread going for questions on this place for breakfast also. One of the posters said it is just outside the park. Disney takes reservations for it, but another poster said when she got there, they just waited in a line and were seated, meaning that they didn't give any preference to them for having a reservation.

I'm told it opens at 8:30 but I guess I'll find out for sure when I call for reservations.

It's just outside the park, and it has its own entrance into the park. I seem to remember them not taking any ADRs, but my memory is faulty. We got there before the park opened, pretty early, but not sure what time. It's a great themed dining option for your situation!

We made ADRs when we were there in November. I made them for late morning 11:00. The food was outstanding, as was the service. We were so full it carried us through until dinner. :thumbsup2
