I was wondering if we can get shareholders discount here as it's not owned by Disney?

Also, does anyone know if you can have a birthday cake here? Has any one done this? What was the birthday experience like?

TIA

Yes you do get Shareholders discount here. Sorry can't help re Birthday Cake.

Seriously???? As not on shareholders website. What about planet Hollywood? X

The shareholders website states that it is excluded

Offer excludes: Rainforest Café®, King Ludwig's Castle®, Planet Hollywood®, McDonald's™, and does not apply to meal vouchers, bars, or themed meals such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve and Dinner shows. Cannot be combined with any other promotional or special offers, including the Annual Passport offers or discounts.

in view of this we have never asked and just used our Dream AP's for an orange juice each and 10% off the bill

You won't get a Disney (25€) birthday cake over there as it's not a Disney location

They might do like other US chain restaurants and stick candles on one of their desserts if asked on arrival though ;)

I wonder whether Disney don't mention discount as they want you to stick to Disney restaurants? Anyone know about planet Hollywood? X

There was one summer, think it might have been 2006 or 2008, when you could get shareholders discount at all the restaurants in the Village but I didn't think it was a permanent thing. No harm in asking though - they can only say no!

We used my shareholder card at the Rainforest Cafe last year and got discount off the meal.

I used it last month and got normal hsareholder discount of 15%- i.e. same as in Disney restaurants. For Planet Hollywood I used the voucher in the back of the Brits Guide and got 20% - worth buying as it costs less than the discount you get!!

For Planet Hollywood I bought a 15% voucher off an Ebay seller, think I paid about £2 for it, but with the bill for 6 of us well over 100 euros it was worth the expence. :)

Thanks for all the great feedback guys.....think we'll go elsewhere for DH birthday meal.....the day can't pass without him getting a cake! :rotfl2:
