We ate at the RFC in DTD a few years ago and weren't too impressed with the food but we want to go back on our next trip because our kids will enjoy the atmosphere. I know everyone's tastes are different, but I'm wondering if there any (non-seafood) entrees that are favorites and reliably good there? Also, what are the kids meals prices (on average)? Thanks!

I don't care for the food there, either. But, you can order just dessert...those Brownie Volcanos (or whatever they're called) are really good, and big enough to split between 2-3 people!

The chicken fried chicken is good, and the Rain Forest Ricky drink is refreshing!!

I like the Pastalay but with rice instead of pasta. They can make it without the shrimp if needed.

I also like the Buffalo wings and sometimes get that as my entree. I don't really care for most of the food, but friends that we travel with love it there, so I've found a few things to order.

I was just about to recommend those :cloud9: Its a taste of Heaven in the mouth!

We just went last Wednesday. I honestly can't complain about too much but the service wasn't the greatest. The food is good, don't get me wrong, I just don't think there's anything too exciting about it. For example....my gf got the Planet Earth Pasta, fancy name, but it was your normal pasta in marinara sauce and nothing to write home about. There is an unbelievable Asian Chicken Salad that I would go there and get again. The Nachos are pretty good to eat, but like a said nothing super special....

We had the Steak Fajitas and the Chicken Fajitas, REAL GOOD!!

I was also really disapointed with the food at that particular RFC. I've been to at least 3 other ones and not had bad food but that one just dosen't make the grade IMHO.

They took my crabcakes off the menu, so I wasn't too thrilled last time we went. I agree the Volcanoes are great!

I know you said no seafood, but I LOVE the Pastalaya. It's really good (and spicy!)

The Lava Nachos are awesome!!! I believe they're listed as an appetizer but I order them for a meal. Big enough for 2 people to share!

I had the pot roast on Saturday, and even our server said that was good there. I've had it twice now, and I have to agree that I like it.

The only reasons I used to eat there was the crab dip and crab cakes but no more crab on the menu - I remember having the ribs which were delicious!

This is what I had the last time I went and it was horrible. Pasta was overcooked, I don't remember the flavor being all that great, plus it took forever to get to our table. It's been a couple years. Maybe it's gotten better.
