Rainforest Cafe Safari Club Questions...

If you are a member of the safari club at RFC I need your help...I just became a member in July. I have received my permanent card and my $10 certificate...my 1st question is the benefits state that you either get a 10% discount with your card OR a free "appetizer of the day"...do they normally have an ever-changing appetizer that you are allowed or can you choose an appetizer (for 1) off the menu? 2nd question...I know they send you a coupon for something like $5 off for your anniversary & birthday...how early before the occasion do they send them and how are they sent (email, US Mail)??? I am leaving for my WDW vacation Sept 1st and my anniversary is Sept 8th...just wandering if they will get my anniversary certificate to me in time. If they do get it to me, will they allow me to use it along with my $10 off certificate??? The closest RFC is about 5 1/2 hours away from us, thus the reason for wanting to use them all during this one trip. Thanks in advance for any answers

We are members of the club and we usually get all of our mailings pretty early.

You are only allowed one certificate(discount) per meal.

However, the last time we had a certificate, they did allow us to use the certificate and receive the club benifit of the free appetizer.

The free appetizer is of your choice, but yes the selections are limited. The limitation will all depend on location and server (this is what we have found).
