Rainforest Cafe Reservation Confusion

An old LA friend wants to get our families together on our off day. We thought the Rainforest Cafe would be a good spot with the kids, 4 boys (her 5 yr old twins, my 5 yr old, and her baby).

The problem is when I try to make reservations for 8 people there are no tables but there are for 7. What is the difference? 7 seems like such an odd number. Can they squeeze another chair in there for a kid since they are little guys?

I don't know if I would have better luck calling (I'd have to call over the computer since I don't have international long distance)?

I think you'd have better luck calling. Can your friend call for you so you don't have the international charges?

Good luck, and have fun seeing your friend!!

The booths will definitely only fit 7. And that's a tight squeeze with more than 3 adults.

But we've had tables put together for a group of 7, too, with the 8th place empty. So it's definitely possible.

Maybe if the baby will sit in a high chair you could make the reservation for less and then just ask for a high chair to squeeze in as well? I think its easier to call but you can always just squish in a high chair in the baby is little enough to use one

The baby is 6 months and I fail because I didn't even count the baby. We'd be 5 adults, 3 kids, 1 baby.

That makes sense with the booths being the table for 7.

Make sure to include the baby on your reservation ::yes::
They count for fire codes.
