Rainforest Cafe require a park ticket?

We would like to have breakfast at the Rainforest Café - Animal Kingdom location. Do we need park tickets to eat there?

It is outside the animal kingdom park entrance so no park ticket is required.

No, you will need to pay to park and you will have to go through the bag check line, but then turn left to go into Rainforest Cafe. It is not inside the park, so you will not need park admission.

The reason I mention the bag check line is because of our experience several years ago. I forgot RFC was actually inside past the bag check line and after finishing our day in AK was walking back out through the bagless line to exit and go to RFC, when I remembered. Right in front of the security guard there I turned around to go back in and he stopped me and told me that since I had crossed over the line, I had to go back through the bag check line. There was no one there except me, him, and my grand daughter and he was talking to us as we were walking up, so knew we were just coming from the park. He pointed to the seam in the walkway right at our feet and told me if I had stopped just a couple of inches on the other side of the line, I wouldn't have to go back through the bag check line. That late there was no one in the bag check line either. At first I thought he was joking around with us, but when I realized he was serious, asked if since my grand daughter's feet hadn't crossed the line, if she could stay there and wait for me. I was shocked when he told me she could and I could have if my feet hadn't been just an inch or so over that line. My grand daughter stood there while I circled around and went back through the bag check line. The CM in the first line had seen what had happened and just laughed, saying something about some people being nit picky rule folllowers and he would have just let me turn around and go back in, since I was right on the line when I realized my mistake.
