Rainforest Cafe is a chain where you can have at many many different cities plus I have never really enjoyed it so I would choose any other non chain restaurant at Disney Springs. I have eaten at a RFC 3 times but it was 100% for my kids.

RFC is not good food, IMO. We have tried it several times over the years, mainly because our kids wanted to eat there. We all were disappointed with the food every trip. People go there for the theme, mostly with just little kids. If you are at all used to eating better quality food, you will be disappointed. I would go with any other restaurant at Disney Springs.

I love RFC, but it’s much louder and small kid friendly than the Edison. The Edison has clothesline bacon which is TO DIE FOR. Order that with a cocktail overlooking the hot air balloon. Perfection.

Definitely Edison then. If you had a bunch of kids RFC can be fun. But for adults? All about the food

Another vote for Edison. RFC used to be a favorite but they took a lot of the things we liked off the menu. With all the other restaurants at DS, RFC is way down on our list now also. We really enjoyed The Edison. It’s one of our favorites now.

Edison, hands down. It's more geared toward adults. If you can go late they have entertainment that starts around 8.

Rainforest is a chain (and not a great one). I'd skip it. I've gone to T-Rex (same thing, different name) because a friend likes the theming but the food is not great.

These two restaurants couldn’t be more different, so I’d go with the one that most fits your preferences and your vacation BUT with two adults I’d pick the Edison!

Unless you have young kids,I would avoid Rainforest Cafe. The food there just isn't that good.

As a previous poster said Rainforest is a chain. The food is nothing to write home about. My vote would be for Edison. (I know kids are everywhere, but you'd find a lot of kids at Rainforest, where if you dine later, Edison becomes adult only).

Edison! It’s one of the few Disney Springs restaurants that I want to repeat, except Homecoming.

I have never been to Edison’s but the Rainforest is worth checking out. T-Rex is another place worth checking out. I suggest having a drink or two and watch the show.

I've never been to Edison's, but it has to be better than RFC. Rain Forest is the worst restaurant on Disney property as far as I'm concerned.

I've always enjoyed my visits to The Edison. Not always the food, though never 'bad' but always the visit as a whole. I've taken several, but never enjoyed a trip to RFC. The food is fresh from the freezer and the waitstaff push recommendations like drill sergeants to keep you on track for what the kitchen prefers to make. The only worse dining experience I could think of would be T-Rex.
