We have an ADR for Rainforest Cafe next Sunday for dinner at 5. I am a Landry's Reward member and I understand showing the card when you arrive w/out reservations puts you in front of everyone else and gets you seated quickly. Is that right? I would love to cancel the ADR and just be able to walk up and eat whenever we are ready, instead of being stuck eating at 5.

Yes.

We are members as well. The card did work for us without a reservation two years ago. I would call and check to make sure nothing has changed :)

We ate there a couple weeks ago. I had an ADR, but when I showed my card, I was told I didn't need to make an ADR, the card was better and gets you in before those.

I can confirm with the others that the priority seating with you card works at this location in Disney. We have done it several times for Rainforest Cafe, T Rex Cafe, and Yak and Yeti all on Disney property. :thumbsup2

We usually have ADRs, but show the card when we get there and we're usually seated very quickly. The only trouble is the line management at these restaurants...people that have been standing there waiting think you're cutting in line and they can get rude.

We, in fact, just used it at Landry's in Myrtle Beach and walked right in on a Saturday night when they were busy and were shown right to a table.

Thank you all for your replies! I will cancel our ADR.
Hi- just wondering how it went? I'm in the same situation. We have a reward card (never used), but I also have an ADR for 6 pm on June 6th. We are driving in that day and not sure exactly when we'll get there, so if we are late to reservation I wouldn't want to be charged or anything (do they do that if you miss your reservation??). Thinking just using the rewards card whenever we get there might be better?

So...in our experience, it gets you put into the "seating" line, vs the "waiting to be called to be put in the seating" line. So you aren't put in front of *everyone*, but in front of those waiting to go to the second line. And so yes you'll get seated quickER, but depending on how busy it is, maybe not quickLY.

If you booked through WDW you'll be charged a fee for missing an ADR. If you call RFC (or T-Rex) directly and made a reservation you will NOT be charged the fee for missing it.

If you have that card, might as well use it since your arrival time is iffy.

We went on a very busy night, the wait was over an hour but when I showed them my card we only waited about 30 mins.

Thanks so much for this information. We wanted to have lunch at Rain Forest Cafe in DTD on our arrival day, and I was nervous about having a reservation with so many unknowns and possible travel delays... This is a GREAT solution!

I assume the walk-up seating perk only works at restaurants outside the parks, correct? Or could we do the same thing at Yak & Yeti without an ADR since it is a Landry's establishment?

We walked in, showed the card and were seated right away. It wasn't crowded though. I think there may have been three groups of people waiting when we walked in. We were seated before any of them.

We did not have a reservation and used the Landry Card at Y&Y last fall.

We have an Yak & Yeti ADR (Lunch) for June 28, but I'm not happy with the time.
I could cancel my ADR and use my Landry's Card to get priority seating?
And I could still pay with the dining plan?
