Can you make reservations in advance to eat there? We have a baby with us and really can't wait to long at a place before eating. Thanks.

RFC doesnt take reservations, however if you are Safari club member you get priority seating!! we have never waited more than 20 minutes even when there was a 2 hour wait for everyone else...

Safari club is a membership with a one time fee of $15 , you get birthday coupons and 10% off your meal and 10% off anything in the store. As long as you use it once a year you will never pay that fee again..

Hope this helped

Actually they do take reservations, and you don't have to be a RF member. But there is some odd provision that you need to make the reservation so many days in advance. It may be as little as 1 day I can't remember, but I've done it several times.

Usually a long wait there.

I am a Safari Club and I have made reservations in advance several times.....and each time we walked right in.

:thumbsup2 I think it's listed in the passporter that they do take reservations, we always go at lunch downtown diseny and have always just walked in........ :woohoo:

When i phoned for my ADR's, 180 days in advance, i asked for Rainforest Cafe at DD and the operator put me directly through to them. I got the exact time that i wanted on the exact day.

We hadn't made any ADR for there last year and the wait was so long that we never got to eat there. I think one night we went at about 8pm and was told to come back at 10.30pm - we didn't bother!

Don't bother making a reservation. I did. I waited over almost two hours. And then they actually put a table in front of the bathrooms with two chairs for DBF and myself because they realized we had a reservation and they 'forgot' about us.

I would actually not even bother going there at all. The service was awful and we didn't get any apologies for their mistake. I am NOT going back there again!

Hi there,

I agree with previous poster, we were visiting Disney from the UK last week with our 1 yr old baby (I am also 5 1/2 months pregnant).

We asked on the Wednesday about reservations on Friday and were told that we couldn't reserve. When we turned up at 6.30pm, we had to wait until 8.15pm to be seated. We then ordered our meal quickly as baby was getting VERY tired and whinging. 1hr 25mins later we were STILL waiting for our food and baby was SCREAMING!!!!! and I was feeling very faint!! We decided to leave!! Just as we were leaving the food arrived and the waiter couldn't understand why we were annoyed!!!!

We wished we had never bothered in the first place!!! (we were hoping baby would sleep, but there is just TOO many distractions there!!) We did however try the RC at the Animal Kingdom at 12.30pm Saturday which was MUCH better, we only had to wait for 20 minutes for a table and baby was much happier and able to enjoy the surroundings. That would be my suggestion.

Also, they 'try' and get you to leave strollers outside, saying that you can only take them in if baby is asleep!! We insisted the first evening we tried and they didn't refuse in the end.

Good luck, and have a great time.

Thanks for all the info, I called today and got right in for the time I wanted the first week of April. I hope for a better experience than previously posted. We have eaten there before and liked it, it was just a long wait and this year we will have a 11 month old in tow in addition to two other children so want to make as many reservations as possible this year.
