We usually eat at the RFC at DD for our 1st night meal. However, during our December trip, we ate there during our last night. We always enjoy the food, but not the prices!
Granted the portions are HUGE, and we have learned to split meals there.
If you consider going, I would HIGHLY recommend the RFC Safari Club. It costs around $15 to join, but it is wonderful. They will send you birthday and "anniversary" coupons, and when you arrive, you basically get put at the front of the line! Very little waiting, when usually we always ended up waiting over an hour! Also, you get either a free appetizer, or 10% off your bill. We got the quesadillas for the free app, and it was yummy! I couldn't even eat it all, not even try to split my dh's meal we had planned to share! It's the way to go!!
Since AK is a short day, why don't you plan to visit the one at DD, and then you can.... SHOP!!!
(and do as we did...send the dh's back to the room with the kids, while we shopped and had a goody at Ghiradelli's!!
