We are going to do lunch there on our upcoming trip. We have a ressie for 11:15- does anyone know how long to allot for this restaurant. We usually don't do sitdown lunches because they take too much time out of our park touring.

However, we have a coupon and I thought if we went early and knew what we wanted, then it make it a little quicker.

I usually plan for around an hour at RFC (I do not order dessert) but have been out in less than 45 minutes before.

You can generally make it shorter if you do know what you want before you are seated. This way when your server comes to take your drink order, you can let them know that you are ready to place your entire order at that time.

Remember also that restaurants tend to delay your entree if you have ordered an appetizer unless you ask that they do otherwise (i.e. ask that they bring them out at the same time or not hold the entree while you are enjoying the appetizer, rather bring it as soon as it is ready). Also, having dessert will ultimately add on to your time at the table as well so plan accordingly.

60 to 90 minutes and you should be able to cover app, entree and dessert. Enjoy the experience. RFC is lots of fun.

Can I make an ADR for RFC at Disney Dining online, or should I call them directly? Thanks!

RFC is available online for reservations through Disney, just be sure you are booking at the correct one (Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney).

Since it's not a live performing show and the animals/rainforest storm come to action in rounds of maybe 20 minutes to a half hour, you're not anchored to the restaurant for a specific amount of time. We usually take the opportunity to walk around to see the animal exhibits around after we've ordered our meal and are waiting for it to arrive. That only takes 10 minutes or so.

If you stay for dessert you must get a volcano!
