We're considering breakfast @ Rainforest? Has anyone done this before going to the AK park? Do you need to make an ADR? I'm interested in trying a new place for breakfast that isn't a buffet but also isn't counter service.:)

We did breakfast at the AK Rainforest Cafe back in late Dec 2003. My kids liked it, so did I. I thought it was great to just leave the restaurant and walk right over to the park. We did have an ADR, on the day we were there then the restaurant was hardly busy so it wasn't really necessary that day, but I do not know how busy it is now at breakfast.

This was one of the top worst experiences in WDW dining that we've ever suffered through. Breakfast at RFC AK was so bad, that I don't ever intend to eat anything there again.

The food was ice cold. Not tepid, not lukewarm, but ice cold. Congealed fried eggs are not my idea of tasty. When the plates were sent back, more of the same were served. We spoke with the server a third time who said there was nothing more she could do. We spoke with the manager who said that the kitchen door was open (this was over the winter) and that must have "cooled" off the food.

We left and won't be going back.

WE had breakfast there several years ago. To be honest I can't recall what we had but I do remember liking it very much:thumbsup2 We enjoyed the atmosphere as well. We did not have an adr and had to wait approx 30 minutes. But it wasn't bad because there is a great gift shop there:woohoo:
