Raincoats for kids...?

Check Target and Walmart, but the Dollar Store ponchos are great because they are disposable and lightweight. Regular raincoats may make the kids hot.

Are you looking for Raincoats at Disney World? I purchased rain ponchos at Target for $1 each for our upcoming trip. I know ponchos at DW can be alittle expensive, so I got some hoping that because I have them we wont need them!

I also saw actual disney rain coats at the Disney Store in our local mall, but the sizes were for younger/small children. If you were looking at DW, they should have them in the stores at Downtown Disney and Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom.

I agree...the disposable ones are the way to go. So much easier to carry, and you can just throw them away when you're done!

I have seen raincoats on Disney Property (World of DisneyStore & in Epcot's store between showcase & future world). If you are looking on buying them before getting there I have seen them on the Disney Site, Walmart, Target, Ebay). If you are looking for poncho's anyone of the stores listed above plus the dollar stores!

And on the more expensive side - I just bought rain resistant ones from LL Bean for 4 year olds. They cost about $25, are beautiful quality and have a light liner. They sell the actual rain coats but you get such limited use from those. I am planning to use these for rain and for their fall jackets.

I don't know if Wal-mart still carries them but about a year or so ago I bought ds a very inexpensive rain slicker there - it is just the vinyl type, no lining, and folds up pretty small. I think it cost me about $5. I liked it a little better when ds was shorter because even the child size ponchos were dragging the ground on him. I found it in the baby/toddler section. Just thought I'd mention it.
