Do you have a Rainbow play systems playground for your kids? If so, do you like it and was it worth the ($$$) money? Thanks!

They were a small company that started just down the road from us. They are all over this area! I have not heard any complaints at all!

We have one, bought it about 4 years ago, and it looks the same as when we got it, except for the canopy which ripped.
The kids really enjoy it, it is very solid. Ours is redwood, and you do not get spinters from it.
We have had up to a dozen kids on it, having a great time.
It is expensive, but well worth it.

I have one and just about everyoe in my neighborhood as well!! We could be a Rainbow Systems showroom!!! Anyway, I love mine!! I have the Sunshine Castle and it's GREAT. It is one of the smaller models, but I also have had at least 10 kids on it at a time and it's held up!! Ours is now 3 years old, and our canopy also is ripped, but I just ordered a new one!!!

We have a playground from http://www.playgroundworld.com , it's made from recycled products instead of wood so it doesnt' wear as quickly. It also is a very large set which we needed since our girls are older and we wanted something they would enjoy for awhile. My 11yo DD is more than 5ft but can still stand in the playhouse with no problems.

My DD's Grandpa bought one for DD last year and she loves it! We actually paid a bit extra and bought the wooden roof because we did not want to deal with the canopy ripping. I really like it because it makes the fort feel very cozy. We also bought an extra panel and eliminated the ladder off the back. This way, there is only one place for DD to go in and out, limits me worrying about her plunging off one side when I am on the other! We have one of the smaller models, too but it is plenty big, with three spots for swings, etc, a ramp and a wavy slide. We also opted for the picnic table rather than a sandbox because I didn't want to deal with wild animals using it for a litter box. The only maintainence I am planning on is to sand the ramp and the floor of the fort and reseal them. Those two areas seem to have worn the most - and really, not even that much. I think it is worth the cost and will last DD all of her childhood.

Yes and my DD loves hers. I particularly like that having the big swingset means that the kids tend to stay and play in our yard......even the neighborhood kids..... but that way I always know where they are! We have not had a problem with the canopy after five years but we did find a large nest of carpenter bees in the main beam last year. Rainbow systems came and replaced the entire beam and a nearby crossbeam for just the labor costs. I was pretty pleased with their willingness to uphold their warranty.
