just got home and i would recommend this: try to plan dinner between 3:30-4:30. 1-you'll beat the crowds and 2-it will probably rain about that time anyway. seemed like it rained about this time each day, which is when we planned to sit down for an early dinner.......took rain ponchos and never even opened them!!

Ah...very good tip. We were there with Charley also! How fun was that???!!!

In addition to planning our meals during the 'rain time frame' we often plan our 'rest time' back at the pool and/or room for late afternoon.

If the rain holds off, we goof off at the pool and surrounding area. If it pours, we either go to the room or go get a bite.

Plus, when you eat around that time, you save some money because it's around lunch time.

we weren't actually at ASMo by the time Charley rolled thru...we were in Seminole county (just north) at my bil's in-laws home. they actually had 2 cousins (w/ spouses) visiting from Italy at the time...so, we had a hurricane party!! what fun. not a lot of damage on the street i was on, but they believed a torando went down the street across from us my sil (who lives in daytona, but was there with us) kept saying what a let down this hurricane was..... but, we were all fine, had a cookout and drank wine.....lotsa wine ..................
hope you didn't have much trouble thru the storm..........i heard they closed food courts and such w/o warning so some people had no food!! that is SO wrong!! but, we are all back safe and sound and planning that next trip!!
