Rain ponchos -- at Target??

I thought I read a tip on here one time about buying those rain ponchos at home for less than a buck, and I thought they said at Target. Does this ring a bell with anyone?? I know they can be pricey at the World for 4 people. Would love to get some cheap before our trip. If it's Target, which department?

I got rain ponchos at the dollar store. They were two for a dollar. I keep a few in my backpack in case of rain then I can throw them away after the rain is over.

The last time i checked at Target they were in the $1.oo section in front of the store .

At our Walmart they are in the purse/umbrella section. I just went to the dollar store and bought them for 2/1.00 and light sticks, in lime green of course!

Last summer found them for less than $1 each (sorry, don't remember the exact price) at Target in the camping gear section. Bought a couple for each of us to use and toss as needed.

They have a Coleman variety poncho at my Target in the sporting goods area.

We leave in 6 days , I bought ours last week at Target in the camping area. They were 87 cents and came in green, blue or red. I bought 2 sets....just in case. Last year, we used them on Kali River Rapids...it was a cool day and we got to enjoy the ride while staying dry!

The ones at Target (about 89 cents each) are great. They're in the camping section. They're folded very small, and tuck easily into a pocket, fanny pack, etc. I always bring 4 or 5 - they're so inexpensive, they end up being "disposable." Was so glad to have them in 2005 - was there during Hurricane Wilma. The night before the hurricane went through, we were on Maelstrom at Epcot. The weather was overcast but warm when we went on the ride, but by the time we came out, there was a torrential downpour. I was the only one in our group who didn't have to buy an $8 WDW poncho!

I actually prefered the KMart version. They were small enough (in the package) to put in normal pants pockets and lasted for a whole day. I found them up by the registers, so who knows if I will ever find them again, but those things saved one day at Epcot for us and they were so easy to carry around, fold back up, and toss at the end of the day.
