When it rains in WDW is it usually windy also?

If it the typical afternoon rain no it isn't windy but watch out for lightening.

The weather pattern from the Gulf coast moves east toward the center of Florida which is where Orlando is. The weather pattern from the Atlantic coast moves west toward the center of the state. When they collide (just about every day), they usually form some rain. It usually comes straight down. And hard. And with thunder and lightning! But it usually only lasts 15 - 30 minutes. Sometimes an hour. Sometimes, as was the case of our trip in 2002, it rained from 9am until 10 pm every single day for five days in a row. We learned to were flip flops on our feet instead of getting shoes and socks soaked. And we wore the ponchos and just rolled with the punches.
