I was just wondering what I should bring for rainy days at the parks. I am leaving in 19 days and September weather seems to be rainy and hot.
I am placing an order on Amazon and getting it delivered to my resort.
I found cheep plastic rain ponchos (pkg 20 for $15) that I was going to buy for all 4 adults. If not they sell a reusable/packable rain poncho by Stormtech In Nylon for $13. Or should I bring my high end Colombia rain coat which is very lightweight and waterproof but only comes to my hip?
For my DS 4 should I also buy cheep disposable rain ponchos or buy him a better quality one (Disney rain poncho for $6). He has a rain coat but it is lined and heavy to carry around.
Should I bring rain boots? We do have Keen sandals which are waterproof and dry quickly. :confused3
I thought it be best to ask the experts since I never traveled to WDW in Sept.
Thanks

I've been in September 3 times and only ever brought a rain poncho that I purchased at the dollar store for a buck. In the three years, I think I only needed the poncho twice. My running shoes were dry for the next day and I never considered bringing anything else other than flip flops for the waterparks.

I have never been in September myself either, but I'd go with the Keen. They are cool, comfort, and good in the rain. We normally go in June and July and usually go with the WDW ponchos we have had for the last several visits. There do fine for what u need and will last the trip. Best of all they fold to a compact size for storage.

Thanks for your input. I'll will go with the cheap disposable ponchos. I checked our dollar store and Walmart (in Canada). I could not find any $1 ponchos. I found some at Canadian Tire for $3.99. It is out of season here. I think I'll order the ones on Amazon. It end up costing me $1 each.
I will wear my Keens like suggested. I guess the key is to pack light.
Looking forward to my trip!

Where is Canada are you? I'm in Ontario. I got mine at Dollarama. They had Spiderman ponchos for my DS as well as plain green ones for me and DH.

I'm from Montreal. I did not find any at the Dollar Store but I finally found some at Sail (a camping store). They had disposable kid ponchos for a $1 each and disposable adult ponchos for $2 each. I bought my son 7 ponchos (one for each day) and the adult ponchos I purchased on Amazon: came out cheeper than buying them at the store and shipping was free. Amazon just shipped them yesterday. I also got my rain covers for my strollers and I'm bringing my Colombia lightweight rain coat. Leaving in less than a week, I can't wait! :yay:
