Does anyone know the cost of the 7 day length of cruise prices for the Rain Forest room? I've found $194 but is this for the scrub or no scrub package, I'd like to know both prices? Does the $16 single entrance get the scrubs or not? I'm trying to work out the cost of buying 6 days in advance for $192 ($16x2x6) since you can't get in for the 1st and last day. Thanks.

Also for the day pass in advance you have to figure in sales tax and gratuity. Last time I bought a day pass in advance it was between $18 - $20 in total per pass. There was no scrub included.
I've never done the week long pass so I don't know what's included/extra there.

THe Rainforest Room is open the first day, though not for long once the open house tours end. Each cruise we have taken we have gotten the rainforest room length of cruise pass and we have used it on the first day [as well as every day but departure day].

It is my understanding that the 7 day length of cruise pass includes scrubs, however since we can't use them due to allergies I cannot confirm that that is the case.

The one day passes bought in advance do NOT include scrubs.

Our last cruises were a B2B 3 and 4 night on the Dream. On that ship they had a length of cruise pass and a deluxe length of cruise pass. The deluxe pass included scrubs and was more expensive. I have written to DCL to ask if for the7 ngiht cruises they have a similar scrubs and no scrubs opton for the length of cruise pass and while they have quoted me the $194 price they have never managed to actually answer my question. :-(

Ive never done rainforest room at all. And didn’t plan to on our upcoming cruise. The pAst week I’ve been having cruise dreams & every one of them involve the rainforest room! WTH. Can you tell a non rainforest room goer why I should consider it? I have no idea what it’s all about.

I have done the Rainforest Room on 3 cruises. The most recent was on the Fantasy for the 11-night Southern Caribbean sailing this year. I can't recall what the price was, but I was able to get a length of cruise pass without the scrubs. I believe it was $50 cheaper than to have it with the scrubs. I mostly used it for the heated lounge chairs and the hot tubs overlooking the side of the ship (hot tubs are only on the Dream and Fantasy).

We were on the Dream in June. I purchased a one day pass in advance; it doesn't include scrubs.

You check in, and they give you a robe and a locker for your things. Then you're free to use the three different showers (different water effects & temperatures); there's 3 sauna rooms - the dry one has a wall that's a window overlooking the ocean; then the other room with heated lounge chairs and 2 small hot tubs. I loved the dry sauna, and the heated lounge chairs were amazing!

I would like those showers, but...... it gets me all nice and relaxed with warm water from the sky in what is really very pleasant with good lighting ad sound affecs..... soooooooo rela. OMG. WHAT THE????? COLD! It's COLD. IT's SSSSSOOOO FREEZING COLD! ahhhhhh. warm.... gentle.... relaxing.... my problems are melti..... HOW IN THE... CCCCOOOLLLDDD.. FIND AN EXIT. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME YOU CRUEL JERKS... WHY?????

I mean who made them think that was in any way enjoyable? I just want one that has all the sounds, gentle lights and STAYS ONE STEADY WARM TEMPERATURE. Is that too much to ask?

The $194.00 is for 2 people and includes scrubs. You will also pay an 18% gratuity on that. The one day pass you can pre purchase in advance does not include scrubs and will also have an 18% gratuity to it.
The scrubs are really very nice and we typically don't use them all so we bring them home with our extra shampoos and conditioner. :)

We have second seating dinner, so my husband and I will go up at about 5:30 or so, enjoy the steam rooms, refresh under the showers (yes, some of them are super cold, but needed after baking in the sauna) Then check out the whirlpool tub for a bit and then shower and change for dinner in the locker room showers right across the hall. At some point during the day, I will go up and relax on the heated loungers and read a bit.

Hope to spend time on a lounger next time...

Awesome! I’ve added it to my must do/purchase list. Thanks!

This! :) I like a sauna occasionally, but really it's the heated tile lounge chairs. My husband was introduced this these things on like our second cruise and he's in love. He likes a hot tub occasionally but otherwise there's nothing appealing in the spa for him until he found those chairs. I've convinced him to do a spa tour on each cruise now to checkout the amenities and have realized the times he agreed to get some type of spa pass, the spa had the chairs :) Even our long transatlantic where the length of cruise pass was expensive, once I told him I had factored it into the budget he was onboard and very happy to visit daily to get an hour or so on the chairs.
The Fantasy was excellent since it had both the hot tubs and the chairs. I bought 2 or 3 day passes and we enjoyed coming back from port and practically having the spa to ourselves to use the hot tubs and loungers. Very relaxing and peaceful.

As a side note, having done a day pass on both the Wonder and the Dream...

I enjoyed both rooms, but I felt the ambiance was very different since the Wonder RR was inside vs being open to the outside on the Dream, which I thought was neat as we approached Nassau. I also loved having access on the Wonder to warm up on the Alaska cruise. However, on the Dream in July it seemed like a waste of time and $$ since it was already so hot outside that heated loungers, a sauna, or hot tub didn't really appeal to me and just made me more sweaty than I already was.

What are scrubs
I'm not sure what they are made of but it comes in little jars and you rub it on your skin. They exfoliate your skin and have oils or something also that make your skin feel soft and smooth. They come in different scents like vanilla and lavender. They have others but those are my favorites so those are the ones I remember

What are scrubs
As another poster has mentioned, they are either salt or sugar scrubs, I do not remember which but I am leaning towards salt. We were instructed to rub them into the skin with a loofah and hang out in the sauna or on the chairs to let the oils sink in. My skin felt so soft for days afterwards. This was on the Magic in the Mediterranean in 2014. I had a pre-purchased Day pass, and was given the scrubs. I don't know if it was because it was the last cruise of the season and they had extra? Maybe because it was a popular port day and the place was deserted? YMMV.
