Straying from Disney for a moment, I started laughing when I read this. . . hd a flashback. I went to Vegas last year with my best friend and her mom and stepdad (their anniversary and friend's b-day celebration) I had a couple RFC gift cards, plus my safari club so we went for dinner one night. They'd never been to one before and thought it looked fun. At the one in Vegas, they actually use sparklers like in the picture (not the silver cat toys like the Disney ones use, LOL) and when the servers come out they all just yell "ahhhhhhhhh." We hadn't even ordered yet and friend's mom watched this happen and yells, "We HAVE to get that for dessert! I wanna yell! Ahhhhhhhh!" She ended up yelling along everytime they came out with one. She'd stop mid-sentence to yell "ahhhhhhh!"
So a little bit later they come out singing happy birthday to someone at a neary table and all they sing is "Happy birthday to you, cha cha cha!" So of course when we ordered dessert we made sure to let them know it was friend's b-day, just so her mom could sing "Happy birthday to you CHA CHA CHA!" I think we ended up randomly singing it the rest of the trip.
Oh and of course we had a lull waiting for our food, and I started making some relatively quiet animal sounds, LMAO. You know, monkeys, gorillas, etc. So my friend joins in making other animal noises. Her mom joins in. Her stepdad is looking around totally oblivious, so we're cracking up and slowly getting louder and louder to see how long it takes him to realize. We ended up hysterically laughing before he broke from his daze.
I can only imagine what people around us were thinking. I think we were slap-happy from the jet lag. I still laugh thinking about it. . . I'm sure my retelling doesn't do it justice.
