OK so the cases are out and the ironing (almost) done then I look at the weather forecast for half-term - YIKES - rain all week.:confused3

At least it should be warm rain but having been five times and never seen more than the odd drop it's sent us into panic and replanning mode.

DH is going to get a shock if it is wet - he'll have no excuse not to hit the mallls as he always argues it's a waste of good weather. :rotfl:

Don't worry, the weather according to WESH is dry until Wednesday, with showers forecast after that, but I have noticed over the years that the forecasters always exaggerate the threat of rain.

We have had the same. Only ever seen one shower in all our trips until this year. There was one evening early in the trip where it rained and there is a big advantage: everyone leaves the parks. We went to Epcot as planned and were met on arrival by a mass exodus :lmao: Needless to say pretty much everything was walk on, even Soarin. Test Track was closed for a while but we hadn't planned that for that evening so no big deal. We walked into the Character Spot with only one family in front of us and spent ages with the characters. We later had the pick of anywhere around the World Showcase for Illuminations. I have photopass pictures taken 20 minutes before Illuminations ... with not a soul in the background! Make the most of it! :thumbsup2

I never believe any forcast more than 3 days away, thats the maximum they can accurately forcast, beyond 5 days is based on history rather than forcasting.

If you look now, you'll be happier as it's now showing....... :sunny: :thumbsup2

See you there , we are at AKV around the same time!

Hey Lisa,
I had exactly the same panic and it did rain a little more than we expected but it didnt make a difference to us really. In fact one of best memories is walking back to the car in the rain it started off a few drips and by the time we had got to the car we walking in a warm river and were soaked through dressed in our yellow banana outfits.
Youre at Disney you know you will have fun even if you get wet!!

Simple answer is not to take any notice of the long range forecasts. Just take each day as it comes!
Have a great time!!

As all your wonderful advice seems so much better than my anticipation I'm going with you. However, we have been thinking about all the things we never do because we enjoy the sun so much and maybe this trip if it does rain we will get round to doing them.

Roll on the sunshine though :goodvibes: and you know me if it's not the weather I'll be panicking about something else ;)
