I was trying Habbo Hotel again after a very long time and when I went to the pool there were a bunch of black avatars with afros dancing at the entrance and one blocking the entrace to the pool, saying that they couldn't let us in because of aids and stingrays. They left eventually. I went on again to check and they were there again and also blocked the other pool later. They were saying a bunch of nonsense, most of which I could not understand. They were able to say some words without having to use periods. When I asked they said that they had powers to say them. I am concerned that they might come back to VMK as well like last time. Although there is a limited dictionary so they won't be able to say all this nonsense. So be careful. If you see a bunch of people dancing and blocking entrances, it's the raiders.:sad2:

To my knowledge, there has never been a full-scale raid in VMK to date, but the fact that they are still hammering Habbo after 5 months is troubling.

I just hope they don't come to VMK again. And yes it is troubling.

well, i'm not worried, last time there was an alarm like this, it to my knowledge affected VMK little to none. I mean what will they do? Block us from visiting the Yeti? Even if it was possible, that's why VMK has different instances (North, South, etc.) As far as corrupting the server and taking the word restriction off for themselves, very unrealistic, VMK staff would be all over them like me on cheesecake :rotfl: . The worst they could do is dictionary dance to say bad things, but we already see it in VMK so much that the increase if occured would probably be unnoticable (not that dictionary dancing to say bad things is good, but it just happens too frequently in the game for me to not be surprised when i see it).

The Raid was around a year ago and it had very little effort. A lot of the players were banned immediatly and there is no way to get past the dictionary restrictions(you probably saw them saying words that their friends were named, this is common). VMK has never lost control of this problem and like Capn said, due to VMK's crowd control we can just avoid that room

I know it won't be a big problem but it is just so annoying.

Guys, dont worry about it. Ive been keeping my eyes peeled and i have seen some stuff... Not things we cant handle. But just remember if you are ever scared or woried about this stuff, just get off VMK for a while, calm down, and just forget it. Another idea is to get your friends to the room the raiders are in and " scream them down" stand up to them. Encourage other players to do the same. they cant hurt you

wait the habbo dudes raided vmk once? I guess i was on vacation or something @_@. Can someone tell meh the story?

And also there is really no way to raid like that. You can get to exits realy easily on here and/or you can just leave the room. You can also go to the south instead of the north for example like cap said.

I have seen the raiders in Habbo once. Not pretty :rolleyes2: . It was getting so annoying I was about to scream a dirty word... ( well I wouldn't say a dirty word tho. ) I would probably say something mean but not dirty. but they are very annoying ( Not to mention, they look like hippys with those afros. LOL ) Well, like Capn said if they come to vmk we can always just leave that room. Lets just hope that they don't come to vmk.

I never seen anyone blocking anything lately.

I tried Habbo a few times over Christmas. Someone gave me a gift card saying "If you like VMK, you'll love Habbo."

But I disliked it - once I used up my gift credits buying Christmas decorations, I couldn't figure out what to do. Decorating my room was the only fun part - but I wasn't going to give out my creditcard number just to get more credits and I couldn't figure out a way to win any.

I wandered around the different open rooms, got thrown out of most of the occupied ones, and drew a lot of little ascii pictures on the post-it notes in the vacant ones. But everyone made fun of my Santa hat (which I thought was the only cute piece of clothing I had on) and I kept getting rude insults from Habbo-ites who looked equally bored. I felt like a kid trying to fit in somewhere I didn't belong.

Am I missing something? Or did I just run into raider types and not know it? VMK feels like home, and although the dictionary is a tad annoying, I appreciate its limiting affect on crudeness.

Aside from the structural similarities, it's difficult to believe the 2 games were developed by the same company. Just goes to show what a little Disney Magic can accomplish.
