:wave2: :wave2: What was your experience like at Raglan Road? We've never been there and would like to find out more about it first. Thanks.

We ate there and it was wonderful! We got there pretty early (it was our first night there, and we were headed to the Very Merry Christmas Party) so it was quiet, but the food was hardy and delicious. The Irish Soda Bread was positively delicious! Very sweet (not what I expected at all), Drunken Chicken for an appetizer (kabobs very good!). I got the steak and potatoes- I ate every bite... it was so good! I also got the Irish Creme Cremebrule... oh my heavens... so good.

We were there in mid-December and it was one of the best meals we had the whole week!

DH (VERY fussy eater) had the fish-and-chips and was totally awed. Trust me...this happens very rarely!

Our DIL had the stew and loved it.

I ordered the Bang Bang's Bangers (& Mash) - Homemade gourmet Irish sausages served over onion and mashed potatoes, then topped with a red wine onion reduction. Yummo!

I don't remember what the others ordered for dessert, I had Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding which was terrific! I only wished I'd had enough room to eat all of it.

Last month was our first time using the DDP and I don't think we'll use it again. With my DH being so picky, he never seemed to find places (or foods) he really liked and would have been happier with Counter Service meals.

However, Raglan Road is one we will most definitely visit again (along with Coral Reef).

And newyearsbride is 100% correct...the Irish Soda Bread was delicious - the best I've ever had.

Also, we were there fairly early (5:30) and the place was very quiet. Next visit we'll plan to eat later when they have live entertainment.

Give it a try Brenle...I think you'll like it!

The 'It's Not Bleedin' Chowder' is to die for!! If you love seafood, choose this dish and you won't be disappointed!

Like other posters have said, the bread and butter pudding is reeeeally good!

Try the Irish Sangria :teeth:

We loved it and ended up eating there three times while we were at WDW. I posted my thoughts on it here
