My wife and I took my kids there last Tuesday (ds 14, dd 11, ds 10). The kids loved it. We ate after 8pm so the band was playing and there was a lady doing Irish dances throughout the entire meal. They do have a kids menu. It's VERY loud in there. As long as you don't think the loud, busy atmosphere would bother your kids you should be fine. The food and service at Raglan Road is AWESOME!!! Enjoy!
We just went my girls are 9 and 11, they loved it, we went at 7 had dinner, the band started playing at 8, and we enjoyed watching as well as the dancer, it was a lot of fun.
Very suitable for kids but music can be loud so ask to be placed in a quieter area if possible. Also if you want just a snack rather than a whole meal the quick service bit on the side towards Market place does fantastic mini battered sausages along with various pasties (pastry with a savoury filling such as mince beef) which kids seem to love
Does anyone know whether you have to pay the entrance to Pleasure Island to get into Raglan Road?
I have a 7:30 dinner reservation and I just realized the CM told me it was inside Pleasure Island.
I believe now that you only pay to get into the clubs and the general admission to PI is free, therefore you can get to the restaurants without paying the admission fee.
We went there last year shortly after it opened up. It was very good! And no, you do not need to pay to get in, that is only if you are going to Pleasure Island which consists of a bunch of different themed bars.
Raglan Road is located on Pleasure Island. You do not have to pay admission for Pleasure Island anymore unless you want to enter clubs. You are free to shop and dine there.
