Okay I have been curious about this since our last trip- We ate lunch at Raglan Road and I too ordered the Eggs Benedict meal and it was good I liked it, but I noticed that the yolks were fully cooked (like a hard boiled egg). I wasn't sure if this is how the Irish cook their eggs benedict or if they just overcooked mine. So was this how your eggs were or were they runny when you cut into them?

Here are some pics for others that are headed there- the tomato soup was really yummy! And I totally thought that was oil and honey that we were dipping that bread into, haha, thanks for answering that question for me to, we didn't even ask :) .

My eggs were actually done 'perfect' in my opinion. Not overdone at all.

Eggs Benedict is a tough dish to cook and serve perfectly - I think the fact that Kevin ordered something that didn't need to be prepared might have helped. If poached eggs sit for even a few minutes they start to get 'overdone'.

Haha, okay thanks. I was just curious and my husband and I thought maybe that was how they were supposed to be done. It still tasted good so I didn't mind or complain. I agreed with everything you guys said- it was good and a good deal- well everything but the bread was good ;).
