Raglan Road-Love it or Hate it???

It is our favorite restaurant on Disney property, quite possibly our favorite restaurant anywhere. We make it a point to eat there at least once each trip!

Wanted to love it, like some parts of it, but had really bad service here. Took 3 hours to complete a dinner meal for two. Some of the food was only ok, Gers bread pudding (after waiting close to an hour) was really great. I wouldnt go when it is busy though as they really, really forget about you here. We saw many other tables having the same experience as us, so I know we were not an exception.

We also went in january and found the food excellent, but even better than that the staff were amazing. We had a lovely couple at next to us who were blind and the level of attention and care they received was exceptional. We weren't meaning to listen, but they were sat close so we could! Made sure the manager was aware of the fab service too. Never seen such well thought waiting on!

We enjoyed our meal at Raglan Road on our recent trip. The food was tasty and our service was good. I read a lot of negative reviews before my trip, but decided to give it a try anyways and I'm glad I did! Oh and the servers a cute :rolleyes1

Now there is a big plus!!!
:woohoo:

just made my ADR for Raglan Road after Cirque du Soliel 6:00 show. looking forward to it. thanks for the pics!:wizard:

Don't like it at all.

Mini pint glasses and over priced Guinness.

All the fried stuff we got smelled like fish.

Never again, I 'd rather have Guinness from a can in a paper cup in the room then go back.

It wasn't a great meal for us. The Dalkey Duo Sausages were okay but ended up giving DH horrible heartburn (at least I think it was that or later on when I spent a fortune in Disney's Days of Christmas:laughing:). I think the problem may have been we were the first lunch customers there and maybe they hadn't gotten their groove yet. We might try it again for dinner maybe and not on our last day there.

Absolutely hands down loved it! My DBF, DD and I loved our meals and the bread and butter pudding was one of the best deserts I have ever eaten:goodvibes We already have reservations to go back on this trip! It is def at the top of my list of fave places to eat while at WDW:thumbsup2

Does the band play every evening? We have ADR for Wed night.

Creel (the house band) plays Monday thru Thurs from 7pm and then on Fri and Saturday's from 8.
Dancers are off and on throughout the evenings.

Hate it...the food was just gross but we loved the entertainment

We have 415 ADR for 12/4 before 6pm Cirque. Is that enough time to have our meal and get to the theater?

I think I might show up a little early to make sure you get in on time. Then, let your server know you have to be there for the 6:00 show. You should be ok.

And by the way, yes, we love it. One of our favorites. We had poor service once. My son had a so so shepherds pie once. But other than that, it has been great food!

Thanks. I was definitely planning on letting the server know we were on a schedule. :)

Anyone have the steak?

Both - I loved the bread pudding, but the shepard's pie was dry and without flavor! :rolleyes1

I'm not a fried food eater but I thought the tomato soup was very good and loved the entertainment.

Love it.

Lots of fun. Not crazy about the food, but the entertainment makes up for it.

The bread pudding is yum.

Anyone have the steak?

I've had the steak there on 3 separate occasions. It is really good and flavorful, but it is huge! My dd (15) and I split the steak and the bread pudding and are stuffed when we leave.
