The first one struck me as pretty true as well. My DS embraced the smartphone easier than I did, for instance, but I eventually got there, even though I was well over 30.

Bucking the trend with a modicum of success. I was great with tech stuff when I was a kid, sort of got out of the loop for a while, and eventually got caught up...to a certain extent.

I don’t think people are resistant to technology so much as they are resistant to any change.

People for the most part are creatures of habit and don’t like it when their routine is disrupted in anyway.

Not even close for me. I'm in my late 60s and embrace tech. when it comes out. Might be because hubby works in the field (currently the tech security officer for an accounting firm that has around 300 employees and 10 locations throughout Georgia, Alabama, Tenn., SC and Florida). So we always have to have the newest around for him to check out.

Any of those types of statements that make sweeping generalizations about how society acts don't mean much to me. Too many gadgets are using technology for the sake of technology and provide no real value. Clever marketing tries to make it appear you are 'old fashioned' or 'resistant to change' when you don't fall for those advertising gimmicks.
