We are planning a "SoCal Theme Park Vacation" in July and are staying at Radisson Buena Park. Has anyone stayed there? Any comments/reviews?

We are going to be staying here in less than two weeks. I'm anxious to hear the responses. The reviews I've been reading have all been good.

This has been where we have stayed most trips the past several years. Doesn't look like much from the street view but interior grounds and rooms are very nice and large. Pool area is nice. Suites are two rooms. Front room has queen sofabed, TV, microwave, fridge, table. Back room has two queen beds and TV.

Included is free breakfast buffet. Nothing fancy but plenty to eat. They have a cook to order omelet, eggs counter. Buffet itself has pancakes or french toast, scrambled eggs, cereals, toast, fruit, juices, hash browns etc.

Parking is free. Usually have to park in the back of the hotel as front spots are limited and fill quickly. Hotel has free shuttle to/from Disneyland. You have to sign up for it the day before and it only runs once per day arriving at Disneyland around opening and leaving Disneyland about 1 hour before park closing. Possibly times may change depending on season and crowds.

We often get this hotel for around $65-$85/night using Hotwire or other discounts. At that price it is a huge bargain. Large nice rooms, free breakfast, free parking etc. Driving to/from Disneyland is very fast and easy as they're both right off freeway exits.

Thanks for the information, appreciate you taking the time to reply!

I was a little worried about how much time it would take to get to and from the park since we should probably try to factor in naptimes during the day. Sounds like that shouldn't be too horrible.

We are staying here next week. I am excited, I love the idea of having two rooms and not having to sleep while the kids sleep.

This hotel does have a shuttle, but I hear you have to make reservations.

It also is right near (medieval times next door) the ART shuttle that drops and picks up every hour. To see the info just google: Anaheim Resort Transit, then look at route 18.

Have Fun!

Thanks for the info on the ART, this was something I hadn't considered researching yet. I will be sure to take a look at this before our trip.

Appreciate your tip. Have a great trip!

Didn't know about ART stop at Medieval Times. That would make it easy since its directly next door. We've always had our own car and AP's so parking is free for us at Disney. Plus we rarely leave for midday breaks. The drive takes about 10-15 minutes each way but going to get the car at Disney takes time.

Looks like Route 18 requires a transfer at Garden Walk or the Convention Center to get to Disneyland. Still maybe an easy idea for those that need to take midday breaks to their hotel.

I have stayed here. We really enjoyed the 2 rooms, and the nice California style pool area, with pretty palm tree's!
The breakfast was awesome! Worth the drive/shuttle.

I called ART and it does stop at Disneyland every hour. Not sure why it doesn't reflect it on the route map, but they said all their routes stop at Disneyland...it's their main hub.
