If you are an anal planner like me who likes to have way too much information, I hope you'll enjoy this little comparison I put together of these "sister" hotels.
As of right now I have ressies at both places for the night before our cruise, but we'll decide closer to the time which one to keep. We're really leaning towards the Radisson. The Radisson suites have either 1 or 2 kings and a queen pullout sofa, the QS has a king with a queen pullout sofa. The Radisson also has "deluxe" rooms with 2 double beds.
Radisson - A 1 BR 1 King Suite with AAA discount is $129. A 2-King Suite is $159 (AAA rate - had to list 3 kids for this one to show up). A deluxe 2 DB room with internet rate is $85.
PROS - Closest Hotel to Port Canaveral, Great heated pool, Complimentary Shuttle and Parking, Refrigerator, Whirlpool tub in room, Microwave, Fitness Center, Guest Laundry, Tennis available, The Radisson Parrots (apparently some wild parrots live near the pool), tropically landscaped whirlpool, do not have to book a cruise/park package to receive these services
CONS - 1/2 mile to ocean, breakfast buffet not included, but you can get breakfast at the onsite restaurant overlooking the waterfalls of the pool
Quality Suites - $89 City View (Aloha Package)
PROS - Closer to ocean, Two Hawaiian Shirts Included with package, Full Hot Breakfast Included, Waterfall heated jacuzzi, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Dataport, Free HBO, Guest Laundry, Exercise Room
NOTE - Shuttle and Parking included (must drive to Radisson to take advantage of this though) May use the Radisson's pool facilities since they are "sister" hotels, but it is 2 miles away (was offered this information by the person answering phone at front desk).
CONS - No onsite pool. Must drive for complimentary shuttle/parking to Radisson
