Radisson SAS or Dream Castle Hotels?

I'm in the process of planning my trip to DLP for October and I found great rates at either the Radisson SAS or the Dream Castle Hotels near the parks. They're both rated at 4 stars, but I've read some review on the hotels that one hotel's shuttle service to the parks is better than the other.

Has anyone stayed at any of these hotels that can give any recommendations?

Thanks

My friend and her bf have just come back from the Dream Castle hotel this week, they thought it was a really nice hotel and the shuttles were good too. I will try and get some more info from her on it.

mikelan6,

Have you priced The Holliday Inn ?

It is usually the cheapest off-site hotel. The web addy for this hotel is here.

Little Lizzie did a fab report on THI with lots of piccies and info on the hotel itself.

We stayed there in December and had no problems getting to the park on the Disney buses that ran about every 15 minutes or so. on the downside you were packed in like sardines for the first few trips aftger the parks close but outside of that we had no problems.

I cant comment on the other two but the Dream Castle (which was next door to THI) looked lovely too :goodvibes

I've stayed at the Dream Castle hotel as well as the next door Holiday Inn. Both were 4 star and really clean and comfortable. Dream Castle is the newer of the two. My only critisim's are that the Dream Castle only has a shallow pool, it's not designed for adults to swim in really, but there is a fun slide and a jacuzzi. The pool at the Hol Inn is better. Also, no English speaking channels on the TV at the Dream Castle and no tea/coffee making facilities. Other than that, frequent buses to the park (usually crowded), plentiful breakfast (restaurant v. crowded) and nice spacious public areas. I hope this helps.

p.s Also stayed at the Disneyland Hotel (complimentary night due to stuff up on a previous trip). You cannot beat the location, it was fab, although I wasn't sure that I'd book and pay to go there.

Thanks for all the input. The Holiday Inn is more expensive for me.

It's a shame they don't have English channels at the Dream Castle Hotel, but we'll have our laptops, so as long as we have internet, we can watch on there. But really, we'll be there to go to the parks, not to watch TV.

Do you remember how much internet access was there?
