Radisson Resort Parkway.......

We were booked for the Ron Jon caribe in Port Canaveral this week before our Magic Disney cruise until i called to reconfirm our ressies and was told that I can not be promised a non-smoking room . We were really looking forward to staying there, but with a 1 year old with severe asthma, I cancelled. I could not find anything near the Port for under $150 that was nice. so , I booked one in Kissemme-Radisson Resort Parkway for a great price. How is this property? It looks newer, at i read somewhere that it was recently renovated. Does anyone have any feedback for me? Where is it located? What is near this property to eat? Thanks!!!--Maria

I have stayed there. It is nice. It is very spread out but the pool is incredible and it is an easy 5 minute drive to the WDW gates.

it is located on Irlo Bronson Hwy (US 192). it is very near the intersection of I 4 and US 192. every chain restaurant on earth is within 10 minutes, however I recommend the Tropigrill, which is 3 miles east on US 192. there is a Krispy Kreme factory down the road. Also, for cheap souvenirs and tshirts, Orange World (look for the giant orange) and the Wizard Gifts (look for the giant Wizard) are good.

While on the topic of Radissons (sort of)..... has anyone stayed at the Radisson Resort Maingate? I read mixed reviews on Travelocity and was wondering if any of my fellow DISers had any experience with it.

I won this on Priceline for 2 nights and was pleased with it. The location is great and only minutes from AK via Sherberth Rd. (first right coming out of Rad. property). The rooms were clean. Bed was a SelectComfort which was great. Also included in the room was a small fridge, hairdryer and garden-style bathtub (more oval than long). Right outside my room was the quiet pool, main pool was right off the lobby.

I'd stay there again!!!
