We're staying here for a few nights in April. Can anyone share their thoughts on it? It'll be our first stay offsite in quite a while so I'm a little nervous. Thanks.
It has been a few years since I was last here. I really enjoyed my stay there. The rooms aren't the smallest or largest but are nice and clean. The pool area is very nice and themed and a big plus in staying there. We ate the breakfast bar almost daily and really enjoyed the food (they had some muffins that were to die for and extremely fresh, they also had a fresh made omelet bar which I don't know if they still have.) The hotel isn't but about 5 minutes from Disney property. We didn't use their transportation system as we had a vehicle so I can't comment on that. I thought about staying here for my last vacation but then the FTP came out (last year) and was a great price. I certainly wouldn't rule this hotel out at all especially for a nice price.
Don't be nervous. This is a very nice hotel. Having always stayed on WDW property previosly, we found the shuttle a bit inconvient. I will echo yecats statements. Great pool, great breakfast, rooms are clean and tidy. relax and enjoy.
We'll have our own car so I'm not too worried about that. We also reserved a king room because we'll have a newborn in a crib and a toddler and figured that would give us more floor room. The toddler will just share with us. I'm very interested in the pool for my toddler. I was just a little nervous because my last two visits we stayed at WL and AKL but their rates were a little too high this time. We reserved the Radisson at $77. As long as the room is clean and in good shape, I should be able to enjoy it. Thanks.
I'm also considering the Radisson Resort Parkway. I would love to hear from people who have stayed there recently. I see mostly good reviews about it but I have also seen some mixed reviews. It's not easy deciding where to stay and I don't want to pick the wrong place. Thanks in advance for any comments you may have.
We just stayed at Radisson Resort Parkway -- let's see -- Thursday night Jan. 29. We were rolling in from Atlanta area to stay the night before going to Disney hotel (FW cabin) Friday. We thought the RRP was a really good value. The customer service was very fine I particularly was impressed with the attention from them when I called the confirm, and their e-mails and the fact that everything, including the comp upgrade from Mousesavers, was correct and they just seemed "ready for us," you know? And even getting in later at night it was a clean and well-lit place. Good vibe.
The breakfast was awesome! The omelette guy is still there! Great buffet for all ages. The dining room is quite a nice one. I agree with the other posters, it is a plenty nice hotel. Also, check-out was simple. Oh, and we ordered Pizza Hut delivery do it before midnight and that was really cool! Excited youngsters still jumping on beds at 11 p.m.-ishyikes!! were satiated by pizza, ha.
In short, as obvious from the above we had a very satisfactory visit there.
I too am considering staying at the Radisson Resort Parkway. Sounds pretty nice and the web site make the place look really nice. I think my 2 kids (5 & 1) will love the pools. Anyone else stayed there lately?
