We just returned last nite from a 5 night stay at the Radisson. We have always stayed on-site but this was a last-minute trip and I didn't want to spend the premium for an on-site location. I got a great deal through Expedia - hotel, airfare, car, park tickets. The resort was nice. It really can't compare to a Disney hotel but it was fine. There are 2 pools. The larger pool with the slide was not heated but the water was easy to get used to. There are no lifeguards and I was very concerned about how the slide was being used. For example, bigger kids - maybe 14, 15 - started standing mid-way down the slide and then doing flips into the water. Of course younger kids started copying that. All of the activity around the slide looked basically unsafe. The minute I would say anything to my kids, they would look at me like I was the meanest mother in the world, not letting them have any fun. The deli in the lobby had alot of choices. My kids love Dunkin Donuts and there was one right down the street so we stopped there for breakfast each morning. We also had a car so we didn't have to wait for the hotel shuttle. It seemed like one was leaving every hour up until about 11:00 a.m and there were alot of people using it. The hotel is close to the parks. We were barely in the car for 5 minutes! All in all it was a good hotel.
