Has anyone had any experience with the Doubletree at Cocoa Beach? We have a very large group going (68) on the 7/18 Wonder. We thought the Doubletree would be nice because it's actually on the beach; but Radisson has free transportation to the port. Has anyone been to both and can compare for us? Due to the size of our group we want to make our ressies as soon as we can. Thanks!!! :earsgirl:

With 68 in your group, you might want to hire a bus or two. It would take many trips in the Radisson shuttle to get you all to the port. I think the Doubletree is okay... it's a nice business-class hotel, but there's nothing spectacular about it. There's nothing spectacular about the Radisson either. They're both nice hotels but neither will knock your socks off. I would lean towards doing the Doubletree since it's on the beach and near a grocery store. But you would need to arrange transportation.

Dave is absolutely right - the Radisson only has extended vans, you're going to have a hard time getting that many over on the free shutles. You really should plan on your own transportation.
