radisson open ?????

I was wondering if the radisson is open. I have not seen anything recently.

If you mean the one in PC, YES... at least they were taking Res for the 18th, and there was only one room left...

but it was 169 plus tax for 3 adults per night...

We booked just in case, then found Confort Inn at cocoa beach to be cheaper... 109 a night w/ cruise pack (shuttle, leave car at hotel)

plus the Rad was all out of cruise package...

Yes, Shirley and Norm surveyed the hotels the other day. They said the Radisson is open but most of the Cocoa Beach hotels are closed... some for 6-8 weeks.

Gooooooooooooo Dave - yep the Radisson is open and didn't receive any damages - I just called Best Western and even tho they lost 40 of their rooms to damages, they have opened without any problems (I spoke to them Friday and they were all sold out)- the hotels are doing everything possible to reopen as quickly as possible - in fact, I believe they will be open sooner than expected - The Hilton called my nephew back after telling him he would be off for about 6 to 8 weeks - everyone is trying to get back to normal and it is coming slowly but surely.

I spoke with a gal yesterday at the Radison to confirm our reservation for the 24th. She said while they didn't suffer alot of damage, the area overall did. Some of the beaches are littered with dead birds and the beaches themselves are "flat". It's going to take some time and work to get the area back to normal. We feel and pray for all Floridians; the stress has to be unbelieveable!

We hope to get to "The Perfect Gift", as I have read so much about this shoppe. I assume it is close to the Radison?

Hello Susie,
Now if you would have come to the shop last week - you would have have to go about 10 miles to come to the shop missing all the debris and the roads closed. Anyhow we are exalty 1 and a quarter miles South of the Radisson at the Beach Plaza - can't miss it - once upon a time there was a LARGE sign by the roadside - the pole is still there and everyone's name if off except the shop's ----go figure that one out --as I said we were blessed the damages were not greater --
