Radisson Maingate?

Has anyone stayed at the Radisson Maingate? I'm getting a rate of $89 a night, which is cheaper than HoJo's for the same dates. I like Radisson as a chain, does anyone have anything to say about this particular hotel?

I checked Trip Advisor.com and got mixed reviews. Some said never stay there ever, and other's just raived about it. So which is it?

I have an aquanintance who stayed at the Raddisson last year. he said it was fine. He didn't rave about it or complain just said it was fine.

its okay - the rooms where you get a glimpse of the fireworks are nice. it's got interior corridors which I like, - although no balconies - and I seem to remember them being okay in size. The pools in a dreadful position though, you only get about 10 minutes of sunshine a day. I'd stay there again if it was half the price of the Coast Hotel opposite but otherwise I'm over the road!

We were there just this last weekend and I got the rooms on Expedia for $54 a night. Yippee!! We loved it. The staff was super terrifc and they have a concierge that has all the tickets. They have a gift shop, bar and restaurant (which offers 50% off at dinner). We didn't take advantage of that, but we did eat at the breakfast buffet which was delcious and quick. You can order off the menu at breakfast as well.

The Radisson was on the C line of the ART which runs between the Coast, Clarion, Hilton and Radisson. Radisson is the last pickup on the way to DL drop off. If you want off sooner on the way back you can always get off at Ocean and walk across. It runs every 20 minutes/10minutes when busy.

We loved the Radisson. There is a $10 parking fee per night, fyi. We loved it there and because of the great service we would stay there again. Highly recommend.
